Last week, our family went off-grid for five days to breathe in the fresh mountain air, unwind by the fire, and soak up the summer Colorado sun (way too much sun, if you ask my legs, neck, and lip that all got big time burnt).

(Don’t look too closely at this picture or you’ll see a small stain from the ketchup that exploded on my earlier that night — did you know that altitude could do that to ketchup bottles? ';))

When it came time to leave, we made our way down the mountain, and for some reason, my brain wasn’t quite turned on yet.

I forgot to remove a chok from under our RV causing it to crack (oops).

I forgot to turn off the water pump (oops again).

And we missed one turn-off on the long road back to Arizona (ugh).

While none of these issues were catastrophic, they put me on high alert. I did *not* want to mess up anymore as the co-pilot on our drive home, so I pulled up the directions to the quick stopover I’d booked before our trip to see how to navigate there long before it was time for me to give my husband, the pilot, directions.

I pulled up the message from the campground owner and felt anxiety wash over me.

The place can be tricky to find, and GPS often leads travelers astray.

“Oh great,” I thought. I need easy. I need fast. I need efficiency. I need not to mess up.

You’ll cross the interstate and wind through the community as you go South. You’ll see a farm road that turns left, but you should keep going south. Then, the road will drop into a dry wash, and you’ll want to turn west immediately south of the blue house.

I don’t know about you, but when I’m in a new state, thinking about north, east, south, and west can often throw me off.

To be efficient on the road, I want to know whether to turn left or right.

And isn’t that the same in business sometimes, too (there’s a connection here, I promise)?

When we’re on a roll, doin’ our thing, we want help staying efficient. In the more tedious areas where there’s one really good direction to drive and a thousand ways to go off course, derailing your productivity, don’t you just want someone to tell you exactly where to turn and which left/right/center direction to head?

That’s why I’m excited to share some FREEBIES with you this week!

I’m thrilled to have my Storytelling Marketing course (value: $97) inside the free Sage Collection bundle, which features contributions from 26 industry experts. This one bundle is designed to help you enhance your productivity and efficiency.
