Today is election day in the United States, and what a wild election season it’s been. I know I’m ready to get out of the barrage of text messages and ads on TV, and into the next season, no matter who wins. How about you?
Since today is so noisy already, I’m keeping this email short, sweet, and hopefully encouraging.
Introducing an Optional New Column for Faith-Based Entrepreneurs
I’ve felt the tug to write a faith-based newsletter about entrepreneurship for years, but frankly I’ve been scared to start (which, as you know, isn’t like me).
Still, for years, I’ve seen God winking at me throughout my entrepreneurial journey to let me know He’s alongside me for the ride while simultaneously nudging me to use my voice to share His word.
That’s because it’s hard to connect your faith to your business when you’re in the trenches, surrounded by struggle and the daily grind. That is why I hope and believe sharing my experiences might encourage and support others in feeling the same calm, confidence, and clarity I’ve felt each time I see those God winks throughout an otherwise wild entrepreneurial ride.
So, I’ve created a new column called “God winks.”
Each Sunday(ish), I’ll send you weekly encouragement to help you see God’s hand in your career, too.
I know this column won’t be for everyone, so I’ve separated it from The Content Strategist newsletter. If you’re a faith-based entrepreneur wanting to receive these posts, you must opt-in here by going to your account and toggling “God Winks” to receive it in your inbox each week.
I’ll be frank. I’m not a theologian, pastor, or lifelong Christ follower. These posts will be rooted in scripture, but you should know that they won’t be the same thing you’ll hear on a Sunday morning in church because that’s not my role. This is simply my story.
I know sharing faith with others can be a contentious topic in today’s world. Still, God has pushed me to speak up, so here I am, moving boldly through fear and praying my story can help others draw closer to Him while pursuing their dreams.
