Move over, you dusty old creator flywheel. You know who you are. The flywheel that looks like this:

There’s a new sheriff in town.

If you can’t read my chicken scratch, here’s what it says: Tell your story. Build relationships. Build products that offer value. Deliver so much value people can’t help but want to refer you.

The dusty old flywheel might’ve worked before (emphasis on might), but today's modern consumer is looking for something new. Less push, more humanity. Less pull, more vulnerability. If you’re still posting a reel and expecting it to surge your bank account with money, it’s time to put the sasparilla down and hightail it out of that 2020 strategy saloon. We’re fixing to party with a whole new approach as we plan for 2024.

What used to be the marketing approach everyone set their strategy hat on isn’t working. Still, I see so many people trying, struggling, feeling frustrated, feeling hidden, and getting down on themselves because the growth isn’t happening. This feeling is amplified among RVers and digital nomads because we don’t have a local presence. We’re building a business through rectangular glass, which can feel downright lonely.

Let me welcome you through the batwing doors of a new saloon.

This is a place built more on analog mode than social media fatigue. It’s a place where people come together as…*people*. Humans clink glasses, lift each other up on a chair to celebrate wins and ring the bell behind the bar when someone achieves something really great.

Want in? I’ve got three tickets to get you going fast and in a way that feels way more rewarding.

Ticket #1: A Free Masterclass on Storytelling Marketing

Not to toot my own horn (except totally to toot my own horn), but if there’s one thing I’m particularly good at, it’s storytelling. Not just any kind of storytelling, though. I’m really good at the type of storytelling that ties back into a bigger picture or lesson learned.

On November 15, I’m hosting a free masterclass that’ll teach you how to leverage your lived experiences to bolster your business.

Here’s why this class matters:

  • Stories are what sticks in people’s minds because they can feel the experience

  • Stories are what build trust and make people like you because they feel like they know you

  • Stories are what garner attention and rise above the noise of today’s world

This strategy is so INSANELY powerful that I’ve built a whole course on how to use your lived experiences to make money. Join me LIVE on November 15 to get the full course free! There will not be a replay and space is limited.

Ticket #2: The Prosper Network

For years, I thought that because I could do something, I should be doing it in my business. That approach was the fast road to burnout I didn’t see myself driving on. I was taking on jobs that didn’t fill my cup. I was struggling through them, wasting my time, and feeling overwhelmed by having to complete them.

Those days are gone. Now, I’m leaning into a simpler mode of doing business that looks like this:

  1. I focus on my zone of genius

  2. I refer customers asking for things outside of that zone of genius to people I know, like, and trust (typically people who have shared their story with me and I connect with on a human level – see point #1 above)

The network I’ve built has inherently returned that love right back to me without the icky sales push vibes needed on my end. Suddenly, just by showing up, serving with a generous heart, and leaning into an abundance mindset, things have felt easier.

But where, as RVers and digital nomads, do we meet these people?!

I’m so glad you asked.

My good friends, Melissa Camilleri and Angela Greaser of Stand for the And, just opened up a brand new membership to connect others in a way that feels good, human, and uplifting all around. Their core values — generosity, reciprocity, and expansion. Need I say more?

Actually, I will say more because they’ve also teamed up with Sheri Salata (often known as an author and Oprah Winfery’s former producer) to offer another layer to this membership — personal growth. Inside, you’ll get access to Sheri Salata’s Support System for daily meditations (because a quiet mind just thinks better) and personal growth coaching sessions. I’ve worked with Sheri Salata in multiple ways, and I can speak firsthand of how incredible this woman is! What you see is what you get, and she truly walks her walk.

I’m ALL in on the Prosper Network*, and would love to link arms, connect with you in speed networking sessions, and start referring your business too. They’re offering a founder’s special now through November 5, so jump in ASAP to lock in that lower price before it goes up!

* Yes that’s an affiliate link, but I was sharing it even before they offered the affiliate option, so you know I stand behind it 100%

Ticket #3: Free Newsletter Promotion

To shine a light on other creators who are telling great stories and showing up in bold new ways, I will start closing out each newsletter with a special feature spot of another newsletter you might want to follow. Some of these can be found in my Recommendations list on Substack, but some creators aren’t on Substack yet, so you might not have heard of them.

This week’s special shout-out goes to SFTB — Selling From The Beach. We share such a similar value system and desire for our readers that it only makes sense to share this with you too. Here’s what Max, the creator, has to say:

Why sign up for the Selling From the Beach [SFTB] Newsletter? Life's best moments shouldn't be confined to once per year vacations. You truly can live anywhere by embracing Ecommerce & Amazon FBA. We did it, and you can too. Each edition is packed full of travel tips and Amazon hacks that you can start using today.

If you want to get your newsletter featured, hit reply and share your deets!
