Really quick!

Hi! 👋 I’m Kimberly, a homeschooling mom, serial entrepreneur, and total amateur adventurer. Those three things are my whole personality. These ‘lil letters I send you are enjoyed by freedom lovers of all varieties, from fellow homeschooling moms to full-time RVers, and people who are hungry for a more wild & free existence. You can expect personal stories about the search for more time, financial, location, and happiness freedom, as well as life’s mess that naturally comes with the pursuit.

In 2025, I’m committed to helping others build financial freedom on their terms through fresh new courses based on what I’ve learned along this journey and popping in here several times a week. I really love writing and connecting with you here! 🥰

I wanted to share that opener again because, if you’re anything like me, you forget how you find your way to certain corners of the globe, let alone the endless mass that is the Internet.

And I also wanted to share because I’ve been in evolution mode recently. (The shifting font of this newsletter alone has kept me up at 1 a.m. more nights than I should admit to you. I like consistency, but I also like creativity. It’s a constant internal battle, but I think I’ve nailed down this fresh appearance.)

These behind-the-scenes updates are part of the ride.

… just like I update our travel trailer every few years as we outgrow the design

… just like I update our home decor to reflect the current season (I’ve got bunnies on the way out of the closet soon!)

… just like I update my hairstyle and clothing choices to flatter my aging body a little better

… just like I update my kid’s schooling choices to reflect our family’s desires better

… just like I update my must-watch list on Netflix every time my mood changes (just kidding, every season of Love is Blind is on there still)

… I’m also allowed to update how I show up online.

You are too.

I used to think something was wrong with evolving. It felt flaky, like a person who only halfheartedly RSVPed to a party, never knowing if they’d actually show up until they felt like it. But the reality is, everyone online evolves.

Heck, the Internet itself has evolved faster than any of the humans on it have. (AI, I’m looking at you).

Evolution isn’t just part of the growth process. It’s necessary to keep up with the natural pace of the world.

I’ve watched some of the biggest online “stars” evolve. I’ve watched some of Hollywood’s biggest stars evolve, too. It happens across every industry.

Take Matthew McConaughey for example. He started out as a fledgling actor and quickly became the face of rom-coms. Then, he evolved into other genres before evolving beyond the silver screen. He’s now a motivational speaker, bestselling author, and a tequila maker alongside the best title of all, DAD.

Evolution in business makes the process more joyful. And to truly be wild & free, that process needs to be joyful. I have failed but I have not given up. I have succeeded and grown out of the success. It’s important not to be a person at the end of the learning curve, but a person who’s comfortably in the middle of it, continuing to evolve and expand in ways you might not realize are possible for you yet.

I read recently, “It rained in my head for months, but now look at all the flowers.”

If you’re feeling down today or unsure about what’s next, consider this your invitation to evolve, plant a seed, and bloom. Nothing has failed. Ideas simply withered to make room for new things to grow, and you’ll never know how beautiful those things can be if you stop giving them water, sunlight, and soil to take root.
